What Perrie is
Perrie turns spoken check-ins into social media posts. To do that, it records what you say, transcribes it, and drafts posts from it — which means we handle content that is personal to you and your business. This page explains what we collect, why, and what happens to it.
What we collect
- Account details — your email address and login credentials, managed by our authentication provider.
- What you tell us about your work — the business context, goals, and writing samples you provide during onboarding and in Settings.
- Your check-ins — the audio you record, its transcript, and the summaries and post drafts generated from it. Audio is stored privately and is never public.
- Billing details — handled by Stripe. Your card number never touches our servers; we store only your subscription status.
- Connected social accounts — if you connect X, LinkedIn, Bluesky or Threads, we store your account id, public handle, display name, profile picture, and the access tokens needed to post on your behalf. Tokens are encrypted at rest. For Bluesky, the app password you enter is exchanged for a session and is never stored itself.
What we do with it
- Transcripts and context are sent to our AI providers (OpenAI and Anthropic) to transcribe your audio and write your drafts. They process it to provide the service, not to advertise to you.
- Posts are published to X, LinkedIn, Bluesky or Threads only when you explicitly approve and post a specific draft. Nothing is ever published automatically without your say-so. Where a post has images, publishing to Threads means giving Meta a temporary link to those images so it can fetch them; the link expires shortly afterwards.
- We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use your content to promote anything to anyone.
Who else touches your data
Perrie runs on a small set of service providers, each receiving only what their job requires: Supabase (database, authentication, and audio storage), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments), OpenAI and Anthropic (transcription and writing), and — only if you connect them — X, LinkedIn, Bluesky and Meta/Threads (publishing your approved posts).
Your controls
- You can edit or delete individual drafts and check-ins in the app at any time.
- Disconnecting a social account in Settings deletes its stored tokens immediately. You can also revoke Perrie's access from inside X, LinkedIn or Threads, or by deleting the app password in Bluesky.
- To delete your account and everything associated with it, or to ask anything about your data, contact us at alex@tryperrie.com. We keep your data only while you have an account.
